Mike Van Slyke
Director of IT
Mike engineers, manages, and implements IT projects for 270net and all of our clients' businesses. He also maintains their technology infrastructure. He strives to scare all members of the office as often as possible, and maintains a high success rate. As much as the collective blood pressure of the office has raised, we keep him around because we would be lost without his mad IT skills.
Mike graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Macon State College. Prior to college, Mike served for 5 years in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic on the KC-135R, and has been deployed to 24 different countries. He joined the 270net team in 2008. Mike's interests outside of work are varied and include ice hockey, hiking, traveling, any beach or body of water, tennis, philosophy, politics, and sandwiches. We like to think of that as "well rounded".
Fun Fact: Mike has played ice hockey with HNA in the Washington DC division for the past 3 years, having twice qualified for and played in tournaments in Toronto.
