The 270net IT Foundation Support Plan (FSP) is a comprehensive, pro-active maintenance plan that manages and secures your foundational IT infrastructure items and meets your core IT needs. Items like Servers, Desktops, Backups, Anti-Virus, Patching, and Firewalls will be monitored under the plan using 270net’s specialized monitoring software agents. Common Help Desk support and scheduled minimum on-site time will also be provided under the plan. Pretty much everything needed to give you peace of mind about your IT Network.

Unlike typical hourly plans, the plan is based on a flat monthly rate, which allows 270net to be pro-active with your network, preventing issues before they happen and increasing user efficiency. Experience and studies have shown that this is without question a more cost-effective (and less stressful) approach.

Pricing

Are you going to save money? Yes. Downtime, whether it’s one user’s desktop or your entire network is costly. Opportunity costs rise quickly when employees are unable to utilize key IT resources, and it’s expensive to pay IT companies hourly to fix issues. The Foundation Support Plan aims to prevent outages and issues before they occur, and when they do occur; you have assurance 270net will resolve the issue without you getting a massive, unexpected bill.

You’ll also see an increase in efficiency in your network, giving your users the ability to be more productive and get more done with the resources they have.

Using the free Technology Assessment as a guide, Foundation Support pricing is developed based on the number of servers and workstations on the network. Billing is conducted quarterly or annually, with discounts available for annual pre-payments.

Some work will fall outside of the scope of the IT Foundation Support Plan, these items include:

  • Large Project Implementation (such as adding a new server to your network)
  • Labor as a result of out-dated or missing hardware/software (e.g. no active anti-virus on network and user catches a virus)
  • Third Party/Line of Business Applications not supported on our list of included applications

Our desire towards our clients is to foster a partnership, and with that in mind any task (whether in scope or not) under an hour are covered to prevent “nickel and diming.” Any work resulting in a failed FSP requirement will be billable. If any task is deemed billable, you will be notified prior to that work be conducted. You will not receive surprise invoices.

Implementation

For every FSP client, we conduct a thorough Technology Assessment and provide you with an easy-to-understand report showing any deficiencies, what would be required to correct the deficiency (specific hardware/software required and cost estimates), and what problems/issues would not be covered under the IT Foundation Support Plan until they are corrected. There is no charge for this assessment.
